G+_George Kozi
This is something very important. And by the way, finally, a kickstarter for something I didn't pull a face at! Think of places like California, the middle east, Israel, Australia etc. They would all benefit for something like this. Come to think of it, I would like a shower outfitted with a number of these atomizing nozzles at different heights along the body! Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ This is something TWIT should spread the word about. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nKwSQCMpwC8&feature=share
G+_Phillip Stewart
Almost all California water is used for agriculture, so this is not worth it.
G+_Randy Hudson
I like the concept but I do see a couple of problems. 1) The mist mode is so fine that you can see water droplets actually floating away in the air. This is going to get everything nearby damp whenever you use it. Huge mess. 2) The bypass mode needs to be a full on bypass. In they video the guy says that mode still uses 85% less water. When I need to add a gallon of water to a pot I need the faucet to dispense a gallon of water. All this nozzle is going to do is make it take longer to fill the pot. A gallon is still a gallon so no water is saved, only time is wasted. I'm all in favor of using less water but (based solely on the video) it looks like they have some work to do before this product is viable. G+_Dave Trautman
Perhaps this new approach will shame the rest of us regarding the amount of water falling through our hands as we wash them on a regular faucet. It could slowly become the new - best way - to wash hands. First in large institutions, then in corporate washrooms and public buildings, then to the home. I do agree that we don't just do one thing with a faucet (as Randy pointed out) but it is a start for some of the most egregious waste of clean water.
