G+_Simon Wetz
I have to ask: why are digital downloads still as much as twice the price for a TV show than the DVDs? And how come there are still huge swaths of TV shows that are available on DVD but not yet available for digital download? What idiot is in charge of pricing and availability? G+_Jason Muffenbier
It's all about what the market will bear. If people are willing to pay it that's what they will charge.
G+_john ferris
Ken Ostrander Redbox on good weather days, digital stream for the not good weather days. Right?
G+_Matthew Zier-Vogel
I would assume that digital TV streaming/downloading is next day viewing where as dvd's are last seasons episodes. That's probably why the price is more. They probably don't lower last seasons episodes digital downloads because it simplifies pricing to keep them all the same and people are probably willing to pay it. G+_Joe Phillips
For me physical media has less value than digital download, because it requires space to store it. My square footage is now more valuable than bandwidth. As the price of broadband has plummeted and the speed and reliability has improved, I would rather stream media.
