The health app in iOS8 includes a card (even available from the lock screen if you like) for emergency health info. It's not insurance (yet), but it's getting closer.

Yes, there are privacy concerns (plus the gov't doesn't seem to do tech very well unless they're spying).

 

I guess my point is that until all the stuff I have to carry now is in my phone, why should I get excited over tap to pay, which only liberates my credit cards? :)

Jo Welde Now that would be cool. I guess we'll find out if Apple can make tap and pay ubiquitous. If they can, demand may be created for the other things you mentioned.

Jo Welde well if it does happen, I dont thik it will be tap to send info every.  Townships dont always have tons of ton to invest in something that isnt really helping them.  It would just be acool factor
