G+_Marc Fellman
Leo, On TWIT this week can you talk a little bit about what will happen to TNT when Tom Merritt moves to LA with Eileen Rivera? Will Tom Merritt be skyping in?
G+_Gary Koffler
He is, and did so last Friday.
G+_Andrew Johnson
Leo said last week that they will be setting Tom up with a complete rig (lights, camera and such) for him to set up and use once he moves into his new house. Leo also said Tom already has a pr40 to use. Tom on Friday said that the house is already set up for fios so they will just have to flip a switch once they move in. He had also already taken an audio mixer to LA with him. I think Tom said he was moving into the house on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th but I might have those dates wrong. He said he was not sure if he would be able to be on TNT for the 3 days yet. Leo also said that they were going to make a few minor changes to TNT but that they were all very excited about them. He mentioned something like short "reporting live from" segments that the hosts had wanted to do for awhile.

G+_Andrew Johnson
He is not leaving the shows or twit. He is just going to remote in with skype and I'm sure he will drive up from time to time but just not 5 days a week.

G+_Tanner Lynn
This will be sad to not have Tom in the studio but I think Tom and the TWIT staff could begin to build a set for Tom and begin hiring staff out in LA as well as SF and maybe have a second place for old and new TWIT shows. G+_Ken Fromchicago
Plus I'm sure they Jason Howell and Tom Merritt are working out the kinks for holo-Tom for WHEN the Skype connection breaks down. At least have some still-pics of Tom in various moods, inquisitive, congenial, annoyed, laughing, sad, angry, confused--that way Jason can post the right still-pic to match Tom's tone of voice when he has to ... gasp ... CALL in on audio-only phone call: Introduction & Newsfuse: Congenial Tom Asking panelists about in-depth story: Inquisitive Tom Reacting to iyaz akhtar "well-actually" him: Annoyed Tom Reacting to some deep technical/legal question: Confused Tom Reporting on the last version of SOPA: Angry Tom Reacting to Sarah Lane telling a wry joke: Laughing Tom Ending the show: Sad Tom

G+_George Sabbi
Embrace change and the technology to go with it...physical presence in our connected world is over rated and totally not needed...even the on air broadcast industry has been doing 'remotes' for years...it works! G+_Jeff Wolfers
It'll be like the old NBC News with one anchor in NY and another in DC. Don't worry. It will be fine.
