Have to admit I found it very amusing when liberal British guest on TWIT last night, thinking he had a finger on the pulse of American politics, referred to Diane Feinstein as a right-wing extremist. Sometimes it pays not to have a stereotypical view of people involved in government and to make assumptions based on personal bias.

I saw that episode but did not hear the same thing. He did refer to a right wing bias with respect to previous attempts to regulate, but then Leo cut him off (Leo does this a lot when he's tired) and told him the congresswoman was a Democrat with right-leaning ideas.

 

He was a newbie - after all.

If all you knew about Diane Feinstein was the work she has done on the Senate Intelligence committee, you might be excused for thinking that she was a rabid right winger. Just saying....
