G+_Darryl Drury
I know that most people are more excited by the coming Retina iPad Mini, but I am very happy with the move back to the bigger screen. http://isource.com/2013/11/04/ipad-mini-to-ipad-air/
G+_James Brazeal
I have had the IPad 2 for quite some time. I purchased my upgrade to the Air this weekend, I am pleased. I just preferrer the 10 inch tablets for my uses. I use for it is primarily as a news/email device and for a few games. I could have just continued using my 2 for a bit but was ready for a better processor for the games.
G+_James Rogers
It is the perfect successor to the 2. I was disappointed with the bulk of the 3 and how small the Mini was. The Air feels like the true big screen update Apple wanted to do. Last year's mods were compromise devices.
G+_James Brazeal
James Rogers I fully agree. Enjoy your Air.

G+_Tor Iver Wilhelmsen
You can call Apple nazis only if you have no idea what they were, or you want to insult the memories of their victims.
G+_Peter Phillips
I've been waiting for the retina Mini but the Air is mighty compelling. Not sure what to purchase now. I guess I'll have to check them both out at the Apple Store.
G+_James Rogers
The Air definitely is more compelling now than it used to be, even if you don't end up choosing it. Like I said in the article, this is purely a screen size decision now. The trade offs have been removed from both the Air and Retina Mini. That's how it should be. And I think you are right on. If you find yourself on the fence, go to the Apple Store after the Mini is released and hold them both.
G+_Tor Iver Wilhelmsen
For me, the Air was a great improvement over my old iPad 2 because I mostly use it to read magazines, newspapers and comics, and not having to zoom in to read small text or see details is wonderful. :)
