G+_Grant Brown
There will always be someone who believes a product/organization will fail when the leader leaves. Seriously, decisions about G+ were surely joint decisions between developers, team leads and the project lead. We've all heard this before, especially with Apple. They are doing just fine. G+_Uncle Joe (Uncle Joe Hi
This looks like more than him leaving. They're talking changes. "This means that it will no longer exist as a social network aimed at competing with Facebook, but it still might be integrated into Google's existing products." Maybe it won't change at all from a user perspective but who knows? It's less about it's demise and more about change. When you change you risk. G+_Grant Brown
Joseph Polk This is what simply doesn't make sense to me. G+ has been developing in leaps and bounds over the past 3 years, and within 1 month of Vic notifying Google he's leaving they're gonna reevaluate everything to do with it? G+_Randy Hudson
Perhaps you're looking at it in reverse Grant Gelinas-Brown? Perhaps this reevaluation is the reason Vic Gundotra is leaving? Anyway, it's all just speculation at this point.
G+_Uncle Joe (Uncle Joe Hi
Grant Gelinas-Brown And this would tend to support that notion. G+_Jeremiah Burns
What a load of bull-plop. G+ isn't going anywhere any time soon.
G+_Uncle Joe (Uncle Joe Hi
Kenneth Smith I don't. I think the author is just making a comparison to Facebook. That said, Google could change Google+ at will. It's done so with many products. FWIW, I like Google+.
