We missed Gina Trapani but had some excellent guests in Aaron Newcomb and Russell Ivanovic, alongside Ron Richards and Jason Howell.

It's the last episode of the year and as such, an excellent time to take stock in the ups and downs of 2014, and what's in store for us in 2015. Plus, perhaps, one of the most important Arena's of the year. Check it out!

Ron Richards?? sound issue with mx player could be dts. You can set audio decoding to software and vide to hardware. There is an additional step to dowload codec to get it to work smoothly. U can download codec quickly via settings and its super simple in past few version to set it up. I like vlc but its still in beta and crashes on someof my devices. ?

Does anyone know if Android 5.0.2 (I have a 2012 Nexus 7) is actually being rolled out yet? I keep reading that it came out at least a week ago but am yet to see it. Have been stuck on 5.0 since it first came out and similar to the discussion in the video have an extremely laggy and unresponsive system since the change, hanging for the update.

Great episode. I love Pocket Casts and hadn't seen the web app with sync... awesome.

I had the same problem with 5.0.0 on my Shield and freezing up and was also relieved after 5.0.1....glad it wasn't just me. After hearing how great the K1 chip was, I was thinking WTF. I also got cracks on the corners like a lot of people, but WiFi seems better since 5.0.1.

Personally, I'll be sticking with MX Player for now because DSLR Controller requires it to play videos from my Canon. Oh well.

I've been using DoggCatcher for years and am generally happy. There is one feature I'd like to see and wonder if Pocket Casts offers it. I frequently use show notes (description) to scrub through shows. I would like to find a player that can display the show notes text with a bigger font, easy to ready from 2 feet away while driving. Can anyone here help me?
