G+_Bill Taggart
I hate to hear TWiT pundits perpetuating so many myths. "Post-PC World." "Everything is done in the cloud." "The web is dead, everything is an app now." Really? The market is expanding and offering more tools. I realize almost no one in media deals in the notion of expansion but technology isn't just about supplanting older technologies. Sometimes it's about offering tools that fit better. G+_Uncle Joe (Uncle Joe Hi
The other thing that just amazes me is how they don't see any issue with corporations being loose with privacy but are up in arms with the NSA. The inevitable time will come when a corporation uses you private data for nefarious reasons then all of this becomes a big deal. JCD is right, when your insurance company starts penalizing you for searching for wines it will suddenly become very important.
G+_Josh Frye
Joseph Polk Sorry, but Leo and others have been on video saying exactly the opposite of what you are implying as recently as the last few This Week in Tech shows. You should watch them, might prove interesting when you actually listen to them. As I believe the whole "post pc world" meme has also been discussed and laughed at on air.
