G+_Brian Runyon
On security now this week there was a fair amount of discussion about how Leo Laporte? hates Twitter. Where did this stem from? Was there a rant on another podcast?
G+_Neil Sedlak
Leo and Mike have been pretty vocal at various times recently about how Twitter allows and enables trolls, while Google+ allows you to minimize their impact on a conversation. That's basically the root of where that came from, and it's not from a single source, just general discussions here and there.

G+_Zulhaimi Abdul Hamid
You should check the @leolaportesuck twitter account and you will understand. Mature people, if they dont like someone, they will just leave and do something good with the time they have in hand. These people, they troll... G+_George Turner
Many of the TWiT shows seem to have a Twitter Troll segment. Getting very old. Ditto for Uber.
G+_Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ
George Turner ... It's news. Like it or not, having a fundamental problem with a communication method used by millions around the world IS a tech story.
G+_David Pick
I can't remember the specific TWIT episode this year for the best of episode. But I got a laugh when Leo was frustrated and said he doesn't view his Twitter feed because "Twitter followers are a bunch of bitches".
G+_George Turner
Fr. Robert Ballecer, SJ True, but just because something is news doesn't mean it can't be over done.
G+_David Pick
George Turner I don't know George. Their seems to be a fundamental difference on this topic. You say the TWIT Studio staff is over reacting about Twitter and their is no real problem with it. I will agree the TWIT staff can overdue it. But their right their is a problem on how their is no real way to block a troll when they decide to attack. I do understand for Twitter, its difficult to enact blocking controls without causing censorship and changing their legacy policies.
G+_David Pick
The TWIT Staff are complaining about Twitter as they have yet to really address and fix a major problem its users experience with harrassment.?
G+_George Turner
David Pick No, I am not saying that Twitter trolls are not a problem and I am not saying that Twitter should not address this problem. It has been mentioned that G+ handles the problem well and that maybe Twitter could learn from G+. I agree, but I do not have precise solutions for what Twitter should do.
