G+_christopher trowsdell
Leo and Co, I've been observing the trials and tribulations you have been having with Skype. It should not be necessary to have a massive internet pipe and a core I7 Mac mini to get the quality audio and video you want. For reasons unknown to me Skype quality has gone down. Maybe it's time for the TWIT network to reach out to the Open Source Community to come up with a Skype alternative. With the clout the Twit network has such a project should be quite easy to kick off. Perhaps TWIT could even have a weekly show on the project. Food for thought. G+_Eric Young
Skype was great before the NSA purchased it through microsoft as a means to spy on americans.

G+_Dale Moore
Vlad Alexa Skype is not p2p anymore. When microsoft bought it they migrated Skype off of p2p and supernodes and routed everything through microsoft servers as well as famously installing NSA backdoors. I do business over Skype and some government institutions I work with won't use Skype for these specific reasons
