G+_Paul Stanwyck (socialSa
I thought this was pretty cool. I love the Google apps for iOS and wish they would make their own calendar and reader apps for iOS. I suppose Google Now would fulfill the calendar role to some extent. I have some more thoughts at machinecompatible.com if anyone is interested. http://www.engadget.com/2013/03/12/alleged-google-now-for-ios-video-leaks/
G+_Jonathan Rose
So internally conflicted... It makes me mad as an android fan but make me happy to see Google slowly taking over other platforms as well.
G+_Andrew Boyter
I suppose the problem with being an Android fan is that not even Google is really and Android fan. Android is really a tool for them, just like Gmail and Search. It doesn't mean they don't like the products they create and genuinely try to make the best products they can, it means the bottom line for them is Ad Dollars. And if they can get more add dollars by putting Google Now on iOS, then good for me (I have an iPhone). I don't remember who said it, but I wish it had been me: "The best Google Phone is now an iPhone." (Maybe it was +Leo Laporte).
G+_Jonathan Rose
Andrew Boyter I agree (except for the iPhone being the best Google phone part). The more people who use Google services the better for Google regardless of which platform. Oh well, maybe this will finally silence Siri.
