G+_Chris Skinner
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and a Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10.1. Both of them are frying my SD-cards.. The Tab has fried 2 x 32GB cards, the S3 has fried 2 x 4GB cards. The cards are not used in any way that isn't normal. The ROMs are stock, noe mods. I've been searching the web, and see a lot of people with the same problem, but I can't find a solution or a source of the problem, other than "Samsung.." Can somebody point me to a solution? #samsung #sdcard #fried
G+_Ricky Cash
Sounds very strange. What brands were these cards? Have you put these cards in a computer to see if they were formatable?
G+_Bjørn-Eivind Kvam Netla
Yeah, no contact with the card in two different computer. Two different brands on the cards, (one if them is Samsung's own brand). Maybe just unlucky.
G+_Lacey Eaton
What if it's outlet power related?
G+_Garage Geek Guy
You can measure the voltage on the sd interface if you are handy with a multimeter. Should be looking for either 3.3 or 5 volts- not sure which.
