G+_Emily kelley
Good job paul, welcome to the" cord cutter club". I have been a cord cutter for about 18 months. I had full cable tv, all the premium channels and a $130 monthly bill to match. I watched less than 10 of those channels regularly. I now have A higher speed cable internet, netflix, hulu and amazon prime movies. I have more than i can possibly watch. And like you i spend the most time viewing twit shows. I trust everyone is watching "frame rate,(twits cord cutting show") they share news that every cord cutter should have.
G+_Emil “opi” Oppeln-Broni
Now you should take that money and get yourself a service that a) you need b) is advertising on the network. Win-win.

G+_paul rixon
I recently bought a Samsung 8 series TV and have free sat built in (approx 150 free UK TV stations). That's what started me thinking about cord cutting. That and the fact that I also found that I had little time to watch everything. Also 90% of the TV shows that I watch are on the free channels anyway.
G+_Emily kelley
Paul, Tom merrit and Brian brushwood host frame rate. One of my favorite shows. They really make it fun to listen to. Btw, if you have any questions about cord cutting, feel free to ask me. After 18 months i have picked up a few things, but i live in san diego so for specfics about your country may be better answered by people local to you. But i would be happy to help. I want to see more and more people cut the cord. And there are a lot more choices now then when i cut the cord. Cheers
