G+_Al McKinlay (YaManicKil
Just a quick point about Twit 389. When Leo Laporte was talking about the fact that they removed the option to remove yourself from search, he wondered whether or not people were grandfathered in with that option if they had it before. The quick answer is...they are. I know someone who has had that option on (because she is a teacher, and doesn't want students to find her there) for a long time. And, not only is she still not searchable (we tested it), the option is still there in her privacy settings even though I don't have it. So, basically...if you had that ticked, you get to keep it and the option is still there for you to change if you wish. What I don't know (and won't be testing) is whether, if you change it now, whether you lose the option to have it straight away or not.
G+_Dave Bach
Why don't you have her try it and get back to us. Have her take one for the team. What's the worst that could happen?...Donny, the class bully finds out she is secretly married to Miss Jenkins the librarian, "likes" Victorian Secret, and spent the better part of last weekend watching Glee? G+_Jason Honingford
Teachers are actually real people, kids. They don't live in the school with the Easter Bunny.
