G+_Tom Newman
This is an email I sent to TWIT after completing their annual survey: Dear TWIT team, I wanted to provide some additional feedback on the state of TWIT and there wasn't room in your annual survey. First let me explain that I've recently changed my commute from 1 hr to 5 mins so this has given me less time to listen as I did previously. However, when I do have the occasional long drive and listen, I'm more disappointed in the coverage. On This Week in Google you've really lost all focus on Google issues. I know you now say it's a show about everything, but I want detailed coverage of Google to be a priority. The change log that Gina used to provide was always one of the highlights of the show. Succinct and to the point, it summarized all the changes. No more do you have such focus. I really prefer information about Google, Chrome, Android and the social issues about technology. I don't care so much about ovens. If you want to create a show about "This Week in Everything" do that. But keep TWIG focused first on GOOGLE and the social impact of technology, and second on the peripheral items, not the opposite. On All About Android I feel you are missing coverage as well. Maybe I missed it, but where was the coverage of the latest changes to Google Voice? What is going on with Android Auto and why can't I use Waze? When can I get Android Apps on my brand of Chromebook or Chromebox? I seem to have missed coverage all of these issues. I'm also disappointed by the abandonment of your Google+ involvement. At times it seems TWIG doesn't even care about engagement. I couldn't even find a show email address on your web page. Don't get me wrong, I love the hosts, especially Jeff, Jason and Ron, and the quality of the production, but feel like something has gone missing recently. I hope you can get the technology focused mojo back. A long time listener & concerned fan, Tom? https://twit.tv/survey

G+_Vic Lovan
Agreed. I think TWiG has become a show where Stacey Higginbotham is fine, but kind of gets ignored and would like more of her home automation info, Jeff is a rant machine that is especially political, and Leo loves that, but I thought that was what TWiT was for. I would like a show devoted to the more technical stuff from Google that is closer to what Windows Weekly, and MacBreak Weekly provide. I did the survey too. I love TWiT too and want them to succeed. G+_Rud Dog
And while we are addresses content would also like to "ask" why the downloads take so long this started after the move from the old brick-house. Have asked in several communities but no response maybe it is just my path to server? This was not a problem for years but I repeat myself. Thank you in advance for your time. PS The downloads on my PC are not affected just when using my Roku
G+_Brian Dice
I do think TWIG Has gotten "lost" in the shows mission. Makes me wonder how much Gina had kept them closer to Google topics? Perhaps they need a new show that fills more of what they are doing now. This Week in Journalism Tech sounds good.
G+_Tim Pickering
Everybody and his brother knows Jeffs stance on Trump, we do not need to keep hearing it daily.
G+_Anthony Gale
Thanks for sharing this email with us, it's motivated me to also take the survey. I wish TWIG was more like Windows weekly, a show where they are able to stay focused on Windows topics. I definitely believe that TWIG has lost focus. Hopefully Leo Laporte? will listen to what his listeners want. They started listening to the show cause they want focused conversation on Google news and I hope that Twit doesnt forget about those listeners. G+_Kunal Vaidya
Yeah, the twig and AAA were nice in the past. After reduction in drive time I had to reduce the shows and now I just listen mostly to security now , and select episodes of twit and triangulation. Had to rightsize AAA and twig out unfortunetly. G+_Dan Satalino
Well said. I recently unsubscribed from TWIG due to the lack of Google focus you mentioned, plus the constant left wing liberal views of Leo, Jeff (especially Jeff) and Stacy.
