G+_Roy Hembree
Clue: Car chases, Presidential elections, natural disasters, downed airplanes, and Apple Watch Answer: What are topics the media covers ad nauseam even when there's no new information? I got forty minutes into TWiT episode 505 before having to turn it off due to the overwhelming Apple Watch coverage. Move on to another topic, Leo Laporte , or at least move on where there's no relevant news. I understand that with pre-orders opening on Friday there's a good reason to discuss the watch now, but forty minutes of speculation and anticipation without data is too much (by the way, they sold 1/5 of what you were predicting). Your programming has been over-saturated with the topic since the device was announced. I have a terrible feeling that this week's TWiG will be equally tiresome. Be merciful and discuss the relevant news about the watch (when there's relevant news) and then move on to another topic. http://twit.tv/show/this-week-in-tech/
G+_Dave Trautman
40 minutes is quite excessive on any topic. Unless Google burnt down that week. :-)
G+_Shea McClure
That was TWiT I was listening to? I thought none of the Mac Break Weekly regulars could make it. We get it, Apple is good at making people want things that they don't need. Releasing the item in limited quantities and proclaiming better than expected sales..... Nintendo does the same thing.
