G+_Brandon Mueller
Hey, I'm trying to find a podcast manager that syncs between platforms. Particularly linux (ubuntu) + android (nexus 10). Any thoughts?
G+_Nick Webster
You could get podcasts with Rhythmbox and use Synx to sync it.
G+_Brandon Mueller
Hmmm... that sounds like a goofy workaround :(
G+_Derek J.D.
Miro if you want to plug in and sync, or just sync your podcast to the cloud then bring them down to the device
G+_Brandon Mueller
To be clear I’m not worried about syncing the files themselves. What I’m looking for is a manager that will sync "read" vs new podcasts. Syncing timestamp info would be bonus. I'm OK with downloading the files on my desktop and tablet independently. G+_Derek J.D.
Miro should work then, heck you could some easy script foo and use rsync with a cloud service to sync anything you want by time stamp
G+_Brandon Mueller
I have used Miro in the past (didn't try to sync tho) I found it extremely buggy and it crashed a lot.... I will give it another shot. Thanks.
