G+_Kannan Kv
Check out Guardian GlenGreenwald Column Glenn Greenwald on Security and Liberty. Glenn takes the latest news on the Prosecution and Death of Aaron Swartz wraps it up and puts a bow on it. I share a point given to me privately by an Internet Friend prominent in the IP/Patent Debate __________________________________ My Friend stated "I think Swartz was a victim of copyright law. Not overzealous prosecution. copyright and patent are both abominations..." The above comment above the thread of our correspondence below I listened to the most recent TWIT as well. They were quite upset at the suicide of Aaron Swartz. Aaron was really one the greatest champions of the idea that 'information should be free' Aaron was a victim of Governmental Prosecutional Zeal. Earlier Jstor stepped back and many within MIT have become vocal at what was done to him(Aaron). I agree a radical approach to patents and copyright are needed. The current system has never served the original legislative intent of our Founders. Collapse this post _________________________________________ Now the so called copyright holder of 'Podcast' is starting to sue Podcasters. Leo would like to help I paraphrase " ....lets work together so we don't get picked off one at a time." The root problem is copyright/patents Leo. We are all guilty of at least 3 Felonies a Day. Which law buried in the Federal Register should the Government use to come after you? As Brian Brushwood says "Wake up Sheeple!" http://www.amazon.com/Three-Felonies-Day-Target-Innocent/dp/1594035229 Everyone on Earth has an agenda, me included. Why do Prosecutors prosecute zealously? Bastiate talks about "What is seen and what is unseen" the unforeseen circumstances of Human Action. Political risers such as Prosecutor Ortiz in the Swartz case use the force of Government to roll over the Swartz's of the world to make a name for themselves and move up the ladder. http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2013/jan/16/ortiz-heymann-swartz-accountability-abuse
