G+_Josh Johnson
Whew, that was rough...am I the only one who thinks Jolie is a horrible guest? She's literally my least favorite guest that comes on regularly. I think I'll just skip the download next time she's on...
G+_Tom Paladino
I agree with you Josh Johnson. I usually skip episodes she's on. She comes across as a stereotypical hipster who is too cool for everything and actually hates tech. If she's constantly being sarcastic, then I just don't get it. It's the totally wrong vibe for Leo Laporte 's network considering how upbeat and positive he always is.
G+_Chris Schofield
I gave a review on the TWIT podcast a while back in which I begged them to not have her on anymore. She really grates on my nerves!
G+_Mike Hooker
If that's the way you view Jolie, Tom Paladino , I don't think you're paying enough attention to what she says over the way she says it. But then, I claim to retain my British sense of sarcasm as it should be.
G+_Brian Gilbert (Ned Jaco
I find her chemistry with Dvorak great. But I watch the show for entertainment first, information/analysis second.
G+_Jason Parks
I skip all episodes with her. Very negative and not in the fun Dvorak way.
G+_Tom Paladino
Mike Hooker Sarcasm 100% of the time gets extremely tired. This is all my personal opinion of course, but I feel her snark and negativity not very fun to listen to. I follow and appreciate content from positive, enthusiastic folks such as Leo Laporte , Jeff Cannata and Chris Hardwick . I like the fun side of tech and simply prefer to avoid people who don't have the same vibe. Again... just my opinion.
G+_Jay Elem
Disagree. She almost always adds a different point of view to the show -which is what I want in a panel-discussion. I think some people are reacting to her delivery which could be interpreted as condescending. I'm not sure that that's her intention; or if it matters if it is. I don't listen for delivery, I listen for content and different points of view. I wish she were on more often.

G+_Rob Harrison
I agree with u. Lovely person, great person to have at a party I'm sure but not a great guest for twit.
G+_Stephen Styffe
I was just going to write a rant about her. I'm afraid she has gotten the "Dvorak disease." She is the most pessimistic and anti-technology person I've ever met. Jeff Jarvis (and I would include myself) would not want to be around a person like her. She is a full-time pessimist. G+_Stephen Styffe
And on a separate but related note, I wish that John and Jolie would shut up a little bit and let Dwight talk more. It seems like he's very frequently interrupted by John or Jolie to listen to their pessimistic and very unfair arguments. I really didn't like this week's episode. G+_Josh Johnson
Exactly, she constantly interrupts people. She monopolizes conversations. I love the rare occasions when +KevinRose comes on but I felt like this visit he didn't even try to talk much due to Jolie and John yapping it up. G+_Aaron Huber
She's a great guest. Lighten up people. If you want a serious tech show go elsewhere. Twit is about having a good laugh just as much as it is about tech.
G+_Stephen Styffe
Aaron Huber I don't enjoy just straight up pessimism. You can say we need to lighten up. I find what you say very ironic thought considering who really needs to lighten up is Dvorak and Jolie. They're both extreme pessimists and we're growing tired of it. G+_Stephen Styffe
Steve Gibson is not an extreme pessimist. Sometimes he can be a downer, but he tends to be mostly a realist about technology and offers a healthy perspective on things. There is a balance, but Dvorak is not very balanced. G+_ron keller
That's funny, how diametrically opposed opinions can be. I found her funny and witty. When Natali Morris was first on CNET, I disliked her....she grew on me. Maybe Jolie just needs to grow on you?...
G+_Stephen Styffe
ron keller No, she's a straight up pessimist. I originally liked Dvorak, but he evolved into extreme pessimism. And I'm really tired of it. That's my opinion, and people are entitled to their own opinions, but I feel like I'm not alone in this opinion. Again, this is just an opinion. G+_Darrell Klar
I had to stop listening to this week's TWiT simply because I couldn't understand anyone as they were more often than not talking over each other. Dvorak is the worst at talking over people, Jolie is next. Again, my opinion, but that was too hard to listen to.
G+_Josh Loeffert
Remember when TWIT was a straight up tech show that was also entertaining? Those were the days. Still listen out of habit, and occasionally they have a good insight. TWIT has really shot downhill the past couple years.
G+_Michael Williams
Some people in the world leave you feeling energized. Others leave you feeling drained. Jolie is utterly draining. Being realistic and being personable do not need to be mutually exclusive.
G+_Jason Wright
If you don't like Dvorak or Jolie skip the episode. And please keep it to yourselves. Leo isn't going to change the show just for you.
G+_Peter Phillips
I think that Leo has so many shows that the tech information is being diluted. Many of the shows have lost focus. Still, worth watching.
G+_Bryan-Mitchell Young
I love her. She's one of my favorite guests. I don't[ see her as pessimist but realist. She doesn't buy into the hype. Hell, she likes windows phone 8 so she can't be that much of a pessimist. I think too many people just want cheerleaders. "I think this is awesome, how about you?" "I think it is awesome too!" "Great! Isn't is awesome how awesome we think it is?" Dvorak on the other hand is hanging out with Curry too much and is a straight up conspiracy nut who shuts down the conversation whenever he disagrees with it or grows tired of it. G+_Dave Trautman
Bullcrap! Well, actually I've not enjoyed hearing that for the last few appearances by John C. I think I've only heard one good argument from him in about 5 or 6 episodes he attended. Dwight used to bother me. But he's grown on me as I've learned where his particular focus of inquiry seems to be. Sometimes I get the feeling some guests have been awake far too long and can't get their thoughts together fast enough for the panel. Then they get talked over. Kevin gives the panel the investment potential of some tech but he used to be given more time to explain his context. Leo seems the worst at trying to direct his answer with follow up questions while he's still forming his argument. I get annoyed also when a person is about half way into their explanation and someone else jumps on them. I know it has to be "lively" but sometimes what is being said needs a little time. Jolie provides a counterpoint quite often. She does have some inside information on some things and her "beat" is pretty broad, but I'm still getting a handle on what her focus is and I'm willing to wait. I think there was a good reference to Natalie Morris previously which seems similar to what I'm saying. Perhaps Natalie just needed to get better at being a guest. I know I would have trouble appearing pleasant in that group if I responded normally to being talked over. But on a netcast people are confined by the host's pace and temperment. I sometimes think that when Leo is off his game the show suffers. As John C. said in this episode they were going in circles sometimes. The raccoon thing being a huge distraction for longer than it should have been.
