G+_Paul Fidalgo
Thoughts as to whether we're becoming too consumed with watching ourselves on social media. G+_Dave Trautman
Baroness Susan Greenfield (top neurologist) has studied this question extensively and concluded it is the "audience" effect. Young people have learned to cultivate an audience in order to get a sense of community which we all desire. As humans it is understood we need to feel connected to others. Mediated communication has taken up this role for us and substitutes for a truly personal experience. http://www.susangreenfield.com/ Being still and living within your own thoughts may become extinct.
