G+_Rud Dog
All of my Twit shows are recorded thanks to my Tivo well no more! Tivo made a slight change to their firmware, without telling me, which is par for the company. Went to watch my line up of twit show but alas no downloads. Crossing my fingers that it was a bug and it will be fixed.
G+_Robert Marshall
The other day this was mentioned on TWiG and someone said they were already in touch with Tivo about it. Hopefully, it'll be back for you soon.
G+_Rud Dog
Sounds promising and if not restored to it former glory ( my tivo) I will drive down to the company and state my case. Originall I thought TIVO stood for TV I/O or Television Input/Output well no it should be called, based on that theory, TIV.
G+_Joe Phelps
I tried using my Tivo for podcasts but the Tivo UI is so slow I couldn't stand it. I much prefer Pocket Casts or the TWiT channel on my Roku.
G+_amalya parks
Twit cast on my chrome cast is how I've been getting it past couple of weeks.
G+_Peter Phillips
Most of the TiVo apps suck. I use my Roku for streaming.

G+_Rud Dog
Thank you for contacting TiVo Customer Support. I would be glad to answer your question you have for us about the web video issue you are having. We do apologize for you not being able to use the Web Video feature that you TiVo had. We have decided to discontinue this feature and we will no longer support it. apologize for any inconvenience.
G+_Robert Marshall
ARGH!! This is one of the things that drove me nuts with Tivo. They would drop features with little to no warning. When my Series Two lost its power supply I used that as a reason to cancel my service.
G+_bryant thompson
I have been spamming the living hell out of TiVo on Facebook and finally got a reply. They are no longer supporting podcasts anymore. I have asked, as a off-site beta tester, if there's an sdk available seeing as it all runs on Linux. Leo Laporte I'm sorry, but I've got bad news:
G+_Rud Dog
Time to research apps for my DVD or Vizio Flat screen need to figure out some way of replacing the TIVO, was nice to just have the TWIT network shows recorded like all my other recordings. G+_Robert Marshall
Rudy Trujillo? since Leo Laporte? already has the stuff streaming consider getting a Chromecast dongle and then cast to it either from the Chrome (desktop) browser or from YouTube, which they also post the shows to. It's a simple $35 solution for you.
G+_bryant thompson
I personally went with Shift Keys software app for Roku 3, works for live as well as streaming edited netcasts
G+_Rud Dog
Thanks all, convenience is the goal it is the main reason for paying so much for my Tivos and the lifetime service. Now to snub Tivo I want to replace what they do with something else noticed all my new gear around the house comes with apps for viewing now my goal is to find one that allows me to record shows in the same vein as the Tivo. I currently own Roku just have to find it and dust it off and see what features I can find and use that mimic the Tivo units.
G+_bryant thompson
I use the roku3 for streaming twit live, and to watch the shows I missed
G+_Rud Dog
bryant thompson Thanks. Only problem I can see is Roku only goes back so far in the archives unless I am doing something wrong? Or the app only loads certain window in time of shows.
G+_bryant thompson
I'm using the shiftkeysoftware app, and you can go back 25 shows I think the api limit is set to, you can go back all the way on the web, and d/l the mp4 and use ummm, well, I use Plex client on roku, and drop d/l podcasts into a transfer folder (alias windows linked drive) that then update and I can watch stuff that way
