Was watching a movie last night when it came to a grinding halt and proudly displayed a notice telling me the bandwidth was insufficient to continue watching the content. It gave me two options from the "Do you wish to continue: Yes or No. Now this never ever happens on Comcast delivered media only on Amazon and Netflix. Can't help feeling suspicious and if it might be tied to the net neutrality ruling?

A few missing details. Are you using Comcast as an isp to stream the video in question? If that is true, you are aware of bandwidth caps that Comcast has in place? Currently there is nothing against Comcast not limiting their "in house content", but can place limits on traffic that is beyond their POPs.

Can't answer that question, I happily do not use Comcast. I use the only provider in my area that does not have bandwidth caps, which I have no problem with. Just to clarify, when you say video over cable, meaning watching a channel on a cable box? Or streaming Netflix/Amazon material over the Internet? ?
