G+_Doug Mejia
Well, it may not have the numbers that Facebook or Twitter do, but I guess it boils down to the question of whether the people you interact with the most are here.
G+_Dawnetta Charmaine
Ricky Cash Very well stated...I second that emotion. I love my family but they are not very interesting online. G+ will probably never be as widely used as Facebook (at least not for the less tech savvy people) but I personally don't wanna see pictures of my high school valedictorian's pet parrot on G+. G+ is my get away from all that jazz. I come here to get news and information from people that think like me; apparently Leo doesn't think like me...I'm pretty sure I won't lose any sleep over it. G+_Nayland Blake
I do see more friends here on google+ these days and I have more people I know asking me if they should be on here. That says something about my friends, many of whom are gay men who have been comfortable with online communities since the days of AOL chat rooms. While tech conversant, they are hardly exclusively employed by the tech industry, and this seems to be the latest online forum they find comfortable. The "circles" and "community" features certainly lend themselves to that. I personally left Facebook a couple of years ago because of what a muddle it is, and how difficult I found the user experience. I understand that it has become the first place people look for me online, But I find I have a much more immediate interaction with people on twitter and a much more in depth interaction with them here. As for Leo's "there's nobody on google+" snark, I file it in the same box as his "kickstarter is a scam" rant, It seems clear that there are certain hobby-horses he's going to ride until he discovers something of value in what he grumps about, and then he'll turn cheer-leader. G+_Ricky Cash
Well, if any of my Facebook people wind up here it won't be because I told them about it. As far as Leo goes I don't think he will find value here because there is nothing to find. It is a,reap what you sew environment, no seeds no crops. G+_Chris Porter
I'm looking forward to the day when Leo admits he was wrong about Google+. I think he is just annoyed by the forced plussification of everything, which is in fact occuring.

G+_Michael Honey-Arcement
The problem is that a lot of my friends and all of my family are only on Facebook. I post on G+ but I'm more active on Facebook by necessity not desire.
G+_Raja Sekhar
Leo is more like a chameleon nowadays.
G+_Harvey Smith
I remember when a couple years after Gmail was launched people were still saying it was a failure because it didn't have Hotmail or Yahoo numbers yet. That said, all my family/friends/people-I-used-to-know are on Facebook and very few are on G+ but this is a good thing ;-)
G+_Steve Heigh
Google+ is the place I can go to avoid the family crush on Facebook... like retiring to the den for pipes or whatever used to be the metaphor.
G+_Alan Billings
No one uses this except for nerds and nerds friends. And there are a lot of nerds!

G+_Fred Weimer
There is an echo in G+ sometimes. However I get better response to blog posts etc in G+ then from twitter. I talk to less people here, but it is more meaningful conversation.
G+_DJ NightKat
Yeah, me too... I dunno, there are certainly not many people on G+ compared to twitter. But.... I actually Like G+ over Facebook.
G+_Jeff Greenlee (Banjoman
Hell no! Every new iteration of FB makes me hate it more! When I do get into discussion there I always wish it could be moved over to this format!
G+_Miranda Streeter
To be honest, my biggest contention with the G+ community isn't the size, but how extraordinarily male dominated it is. It can enable some less than acceptable attitudes towards female users, I've seen.?
