G+_kevin jones
Listening to TWiG and it struck me that maybe Alphabet needs a Nexus subsidiary. The OnHub really sounds like a Nexus-style "showing the way" kind of product. A whole company focused on the concept of pushing the state of the art forward on top of consumer demand would push products like this hub, Glass, Nest's entire line, etc.

G+_Mark Fogle
I like the idea... but "N" is already for "Nest". There can be only one... ;-)? Or would Nest be absorbed into Nexus?

G+_Kyle Turpin
Mark Fogle I think Nest fits within Nexus. They may think otherwise but their product portfolio doesn't necessarily look like big sellers as much as they look like the kind of industry leading short run product the Nexus lines have been.
