G+_Rodney Moore
Not good news for TWiT but I hope it is for iyaz akhtar.

G+_Elizabeth Whitmire
Agreed, Benjamin Roethig. If anything is causing erosion of TWiT talent, it's from comments like those.
G+_Benjamin Roethig
Elizabeth Whitmire I think most hosts are professional enough to ignore platform fanboys. Whether the outcome, these are business decisions pure and simple. Leo decided he wanted someone in the Bay Area for the job and Iyaz decided that CNET had given him a better offer for where he wanted to be at the moment. G+_Elizabeth Whitmire
And Iyaz may get a chance to move back to the east coast. I think he's home sick.
G+_Duane Hall
It's interesting that the top talent is walking away. That's 3 less shows to watch next year.
G+_Peter Phillips
I know we love to watch shows on TWiT and have our favorites but we have it remember that it is a business for both Leo Laporte and the talent worker there. Let the market decide.
G+_angelo pontillo
Letting the "market" decide is how we get to the lowest common denominator.
G+_Mark Lanigan
The use of the word 'disappointed' was a little offhand. What about saddened? They've lost two heavyweights in Tom and Iyaz and gained one in Mike Elgin. At this rate Leo will return to doing most of the shows himself which won't do him any favours. G+_Richard Harris
Don't get me wrong...love Leo Laporte...but I watched TNT because of Tom Merritt and iyaz akhtar and I really like PadreSJ but watched Know How because of Iyaz and Leo...I will still follow most of the shows and the hosts but...best to all in their future endeavors! G+_Rodney Moore
What it is the problem with changes. TWiT is a tech news company. Which most people watching are used to the constantly changes of hardware/software. Yet, have such a problem with news casters changing. There is always other people that can do it. They just do it in their own style. I thought that the viewers of this arena would embrace these changes better. Leo has been talking for a while about bring more/different types of people in to the network.
G+_Peter Phillips
angelo pontillo I don't think I made myself clear. If one is offered a better deal and your present employer doesn't match the offer, the market has spoken. TWiT.tv is a business after all.
G+_Felix Adewoye
i am still in shock by this news and from my experience of the Gadget show this does not bode well
G+_Duane Hall
I can get tech news anywhere. When you lose 50 percent of what draws the attention into your show, it makes an impact. What makes Leo's network interesting is his talent. Talent - 2.
