G+_Reid Tsuji
Typically when learning something new framework, language, or concept, I experiment with it using dummy projects or redesigning currently existing ones. Today I wanted to tackle #zurbfoundation and see what makes it different from #bootstrap - So being a huge fan of #TWiT , I thought it would be cool if I took a stab at redesigning their site using the foundation 4 framework. The design I wanted to achieve would be flat and compliment Treehouse Education, Sticher's iPhone App Interface, and various other sites I enjoy. From the start the #mobile -first approach is SOOO much easier than Bootstrap 2. (Bootstrap 3 will also be mobile-first ready, just not stable quite yet) I also really like that I could make this site uniquely mine. I didn't have to fight with the native foundation styles as much. My next goal is to start using mix-ins and really up the ante. I hope it's cool with the TWiT guys that I did this, had a blast doing it.
G+_Joshua Broadway
These look great. I think the twit site needs a update to be honest and wouldn't mind this.
