G+_Kaile J Johansen
look I am tired of TWiT pandering to the APPLE users all the time. we need more balanced programming about Android and Blackberry. Mostly Android because BB is on the way out.

G+_Kaile J Johansen
that is the token Android show. How many iDevice shows do they do now? 3 or 4? Benjamin Roethig
G+_Kaile J Johansen
he always says something like that to get people worked up. Leo is good at getting people engaged in a conversation by saying something controversial repeatedly
G+_Eng. Jorge Santana
All the new apps come out first on iphone and on the iPad side no one has the tablet specific library that apple has or the performance. Even the iPhone 5 is the top performer hardware wise and the benchmark in the camera department. Apple just need a revamp iOS 7 and add low light performance to the iPhone with a new custom chipset to be the overwhelming leader. (Not to mention 60% of the profits in mobile phones and the millions of iOS flying of the shelf) P.S. my phone is a Windows Phone from a iPhone, I want to they metro. But my iPad 4th gen is never far IMHO ipad apps are much better than iPhone apps...
G+_Jonathan Rose
iPhone 5 is top performer hardware wise? My Quad Core 1.6GHz, 2GB Ram, Note 2 would disagree with that statement.
G+_Tor Iver Wilhelmsen
No, Jonathan Rose, you are looking at the geeky numbers, not the user experience. Responsiveness and all that. But Note 2 is the same phone that Leo has... iOS has more shows because it is more popular among the people making those shows, I guess. They also have more photography shows than guitar playing shows, that does not mean they need to "balance" by adding more guitar playing shows. If you want balance there are shedloads of other Android-oriented podcasts out there.
G+_Eng. Jorge Santana
Jonathan Rose that's not what the performance test show http://us.hardware.info/reviews/3206/benchmarks-samsung-galaxy-note-ii-vs-apple-iphone-
G+_Jonathan Rose
Eng. Jorge Santana I usually pay no mind to benchmarks when being used to compare devices running different OSes. Also it's worth noting that I can point out at least one item they got wrong about the Note 2, It says no LTE when in fact it does have LTE. Also it says that the browser tests are using a webkit browser. I would bet if this was done using Chrome, the test results would be different. G+_Tor Iver Wilhelmsen
Um, Chrome IS a WebKit browser. At least until some later version where a WebKit fork called Blink will be used instead.
G+_Jonathan Rose
Yes but it says a webkit browser where as for the iPhone it blatantly calls out that it uses the Safari browser. I would think that if in fact it was Chrome, they would have called that out specifically like they called out Safari for the iPhone specifically. G+_Tor Iver Wilhelmsen
They could have used Chrome on both, yes... but I think more people download Chrome or Chromium on Android than on iOS, so it would not match people's expectations there. G+_Eng. Jorge Santana
Well when all benchmarks have shown iPhone 5 ahead of every other chipset, it's real my friend...
