What business is it of our government to force a private company to accept or not accept any form of payment?  This is an affront to the concept of "We the people".  This is nothing more than mob rule.  I will support these chains more if they deny the pressures put on them by a mob of "I want what I want and I will force you to obey" morons.

Allan Basso The Government would step in to regulate a large group of companies that have banded together to foist their privacy invading purchasing system on consumers. Additionally, many of the company in the agreement to block NFC want to accept the new form of payment but cannot because of restrictive contracts they entered into before this form of payment went main stream. I know people can vote with their wallet and just shop elsewhere, but voicing their concern to the government is a right that has been afforded to them. Moreover, calling people morons is not really part of a civil discourse and only serves to belittle the point you are trying to make.
