G+_Gary Norton Posted April 30, 2013 Share Posted April 30, 2013 I use a Behringer U-Control (UCA 222) and a TC-754 phono preamp with good success, DUAL 1019 turntable. here is the link to an old article but you can still get the stuff linked to on page 2.http://www.thestreet.com/story/10417089/2/own-a-great-turntable-for-under-1000.html The key is to get the conversion to digital outside of the PC. http://www.flickr.com/photos/gtnorton/6867837021/ You need this http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/UCA222.aspx to get the conversion outside of the PC about $30 on amazon but you will still need a hook up the turntable to a phono preamp ant then output it thru the Behringer into the PC, that will most likely eliminate the hum.
