G+_Christopher Copping
Look I have listened to TWIT since the first show but the SNOWDEN DISCUSSION turned me off completely. Can't get too political on TWIT. Twig and Twit there's a problem there.
G+_Zulhaimi Abdul Hamid
I have to say I agree with the feeling. The first part of the last TWIT was too heavy and boring. Veering towards No Agenda. I say bring back Dvorak for some proper banter. Throw in Kevin Rose too.
G+_George Sabbi
Glad to read some of you exercised your internal self editing function.... However... It might be better to hear things first... That is... To hear all of a discussion... before just cutting it off early or moving to another channel.
G+_Tucker Weinmann
Why aren't they allowed to talk politics? I find the whole thing fascinating.
G+_Michael Ricci
It was a political story but about tech, I think its exactly something they should cover.
G+_Thom Thomas
I agree with Michael Ricci . Given where we are in our technological evolution, the Big Secrecy Industry is being disrupted in ways governments are not prepared for. This is totally about tech and its effects. G+_jazzfreek
EVERYBODY should be talking about this everywhere. I only listen to the show when Dvorak is on otherwise it just seems like a long commercial with guests (and host) afraid to say anything that might offend a sponsor. The show has become almost like a terrestrial tv station with the ever increasing ads and the same spineless guests repeated again and again.(except Dvorak who Leo struggles to keep in line). I miss the old cottage days when things weren't so "controlled". It's hard to listen to now. It's following in the footsteps of the Coast to Coast AM radio show which is almost unlistenable now because of the surplus of ads. Sorry about the long rant but I used to really enjoy most of Leos shows, now I am down to 2 or 3 of them. TNT has been experiencing "ad creep" lately which is a real shame. G+_Chris Cooling
yes. more JCD or Patrick Norton please! I've noticed the guests have become increasingly bland and indistinctive. Witness this week's show.
G+_John Clark
The political sounding talk of this story may seem off topic but it's not. The importance of how the legal & political infrastructure of the US handles this intrusion on personal and business data cannot be overstated. The worry/prediction of the internet splitting into segregated networks has come up before and this practice could be a factor in such things happening down the road. G+_gerald miller
That was my biggest problem with the last pcast.I don't mind discussion about the tech the NSA usues but ther politics should be left out.Just my opinion on the matter. This kid ran away and sold to the highest bidder. In my 61 years of watching that indicates to me that he is not doing it for the good of the country. G+_Vintuitive
I find it odd that people here think the NSA story has nothing to do with tech. It's the biggest tech story of the decade! I'd love to see a lot more discussion on these heavier topics than the lighter fluff that so often dominates discussions.
G+_gerald miller
V I would hardly call that the biggest tech story of the decade.
