G+_Chris Sneed
Question about audible offer, I went to the site did what Leo Laporte said, only received one credit. Fairly certain I did it correct because they are running another promotion on the site. Did this offer change because I have been listening to TWIT and the ad said 2 credits. Thanks in advance! G+_Thomas Smith
Maybe it depends on if you sign up for Gold or Platinum. Gold is one credit a month, platinum is two.
G+_Simon Holcroft
You get one free if you sign up for the basic account, two if you sign up for the upgraded one. I made the same mistake. Still worth it though.
G+_Paul J Warner
That would make sense, I didn't see any option for platinum, I was in a bit of a rush as I was headed to the gym but makes sense. Thanks!
G+_David Rathbun
I think TWIT2 is the code for the platinum version.
G+_Leo Laporte
The ad says one credit on all our shows except TWiT (that's how audible wants us to do it for some reason). The TWO credit plan is the platinum plan: http://audible.com/twit2.
G+_Paul J Warner
Leo Laporte is there any way I can get that?
G+_Alain Bertrand
So the different URLs give different deals? That is good to know. Also have they finally dropped their DRM crap? I refuse to pay for files that I can't play where/when/how I decide.
G+_James Thatcher
Paul J Warner call Audible... they're fairly good to work with they probably would be happy to take more money from you :)
G+_Paul J Warner
James Thatcher yeah I figure I'm not going to cry over spilled milk. One book a month is about what I will use anyways :-), just wanted to see if anyone else saw this, Leo Laporte squared my issue.
