G+_Blake Olson
So in this weeks arena pick, Gina picked "lose it" and it got me thinking. Recently, the company I work for bought everyone in the company fitbits as a gift as part of the annual meeting. Since I have been running more lately as well as trying to eat healthier, it was a great fit. It prompted me to do a bit of research on all the different diet and exercise journal apps and I've found the there are a bunch of them. Some of them specialize in running, like Run Keeper and Endomondo, some of them better in the food journaling, like Lose it. There also FitBits's own app, Couch-to-5k, My Fitness pal, and not to forget, Samsungs' S Health. They all seam to sync to Fitbit, and all seem to have at least the basic features of the others many of them use one anothers' API to feed data into each other. It's almost like you could do your activity in one app, food in another, and sync them all together and all the data would eventually be in every app... So I guess I was wondering what everyone else in doing in this space. It seem like many people use RunKeeper for running and feed it into FitBits app and do their diet journal in the fit bit app as well. Has anyone found a some what recent study of how best to use all these apps?
