G+_Phillip Dyson
I'm going be attending a few io extended events next week. But unfortunately I don't have updated business cards. What are your suggestions for exchanging contact information? Galaxy Nexus/Nexus 7 (wifi)
G+_dale huss
QR codes are easy enough. Create a specific contact with just the info you want shared and let people scan away.
G+_Joseph Cappellino
NFC is a way to go, provided the other person has NFC as well.
G+_Will Chase
Have you tried Hello from Evernote? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.evernote.hello
G+_Tim Box
You could get new cards done in that time.
G+_Josh Schweigert
Mike Elgan Did a pretty good job of going through the different options in this article: http://www.datamation.com/applications/why-im-burning-my-business-cards-1.html The main takeaway though is that these types of apps usually only work if both parties are using the same app. We are stuck in a really awkward place until someone creates a universal standard that everyone agrees to use. G+_Phillip Dyson
Thanks for your suggestions. I think I'm going to create a contact with my Google plus and LinkedIn info. Then I'll give Goggles a try for receiving them. I'm also going to look into the QR code to stream line the exchange. Any suggestions on apps to create the code?
