G+_John Buchmann
Today my daughter needed to bring a photo of herself for school, printed at 2x3". I went ahead and did it by opening the pic in photoshop, cropping, sizing it down to the exact size and then printing... But I was wondering how this could be done without my computer... just crop and print to my printer from my phone. I can print to my printer using Google Cloud Print, but i have no control over the actual size of the image. I found I get way more control over printing photos using the HP ePrint app. (I have an HP cloud enabled printer). This app is soooo close to what I need. I can crop the image to common aspect ratios (like 4x6, which is the same as 2x3) and I can choose the paper size. BUT the output fills the printed page at the chosen aspect ratio. I need to print at an unusual size of exactly 2x3" and I can't! Does anyone know of an app which allows me to choose an aspect ration AND actual image size? Thanks for any help! :)
G+_Michael O'Hara
John Buchmann Copy it to USB and take it to Kinkos.
G+_John Buchmann
Stephen Gunnoe, thanks. I just tried that app, but it only allows me to choose from a preset list of sizes, nothing custom. Michael O'Hara, i need to print from home printer. :)
G+_Daniel Charles
Depending on the size of the subject in the picture, you could always "crop" it with a pair of scissors.
G+_John Buchmann
Daniel Charles LOL, that's so old school! :) I'm surprised there's no "all app" solution for this. You'd think it would be fairly common to want to print out really small photos (for things like passport pics, or pics for really unusual size frames). G+_Daniel Charles
John Buchmann, I am a little surprised that the app you mentioned doesn't have more sizes. And you're right, you would think that you could print pictures of any arbitrary size. Good luck!
G+_John Buchmann
Daniel Charles I guess it's things like this that keep people relying on full computers to get stuff done!
G+_Karen Webb
John Buchmann Hi John, I'm helping a friend who uses your "onDisplay" theme (2009) for her word press website. I can't find any information on this theme. Can you help me? Thanks Karen
G+_John Buchmann
Karen Webb sorry but that theme is sooooo old and has not been for sale in years. I have no info on it anymore and cannot support it. :(
