G+_Bram Moerman
Originally shared by Vinoth Ragunathan Leaked render of the Nexus 5 (2015) This might upset a lot of Nexus fans, but it seems like LG will be adopting Samsung's 'rectangular' home button for its fingerprint scanner. We have to remember, this isn't official in any way, but the fact that OnePlus has gone with a physical home button for its OnePlus 2 tells me this might be the real deal. Even so, this will go against everything that Google has geared up for with the Nexus line and on-screen buttons. Hopefully Qualcomm's fingerprint sensor technology will be advanced enough so we can finally ditch all this buttons and dimples just to read fingerprints. Maybe simply touching anywhere on the screen to unlock your phone? - No? Okay, I'll see myself out.

G+_Joseph Cappellino
Or, dare I say, this is just a place for you to put your finger, and not actually a "home" button.
G+_Joseph Cappellino
Solomon Arnett - it's better than the alternative of actually having a "home" button.
G+_Joseph Cappellino
Solomon Arnett I understand, but my N5 would fit this on the chin no problem, even with my case.
