G+_George Byers
A bunch of wild rumors set off by clickbait android blogs.
G+_Diego Rodriguez (Jay)
Everyone is up in arms about this, but nobody should care. The great thing about Android is choice. Don't like an aspect about the OS? Change it. It's not a big deal. There are so many great launchers in the play store to choose from.
G+_Carter Loose
Makes perfect sense to me to just get rid of it. It makes it less confusing for pepole switching from iOS and anyone that's really wants to customize thier home screen will use a custom launcher so I don't see how this really affects anyone. G+_Pradyumn Vij
It's a poor OS design choice and worrying indication from the designers of the OS.
G+_Elizabeth Whitmire
If they make it an easy preference choice, that's fine, but if they just remove it outright... I've never rooted a phone and am not enthused about learning how since I've never needed to. But I'm positive I don't want an iOS-like experience on Android. Yecch.
