G+_Rob Locke
Hey AAA crew, after hearing about Accubattery, and having my 6P battery suffering through a couple years of my charging abuse reducing it to about 50% capacity, I wanted to baby my new Pixel 2 XL. Using Accubattery and reading this paper: https://accubattery.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/210224725-Charging-research-and-methodology I've had to totally rethink how to charge a phone. All these years, I thought that LiIon batteries were pretty much immune to charging issues. Boy, was I wrong! The tl;dr is: - Charge up to 80%. This will quadruple (!) your battery life. - Charge slowly. Charge rate can be measured by Accubattery https://accubattery.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/210224725-Charging-research-and-methodology
