G+_David Herron
What's out there that will back up your apps and settings pre-root such that you won't have to re-sign in to all your accounts and redo your settings in all your apps?
G+_Tim Davis
I'm partial to Titanium Backup, but that (as well as most other means of restoring user app data) requires root.
G+_Joseph Cappellino
ClockworkMod just released an app (that was mentioned in a recent episode) called Carbon. There is a root, and non-root version. The only caveat is that the non-root version requires a desktop app to initialize the device. After it's initialized, the app will work properly until a reboot (which requires the desktop application to intervene again). Hope that helps! G+_Santos Cardona
Joseph Cappellino Thanks for pointing out how that works. I'm rooted so I use TB but it's good to know.
G+_James Dowmont
Titanium Backup and pay for the pro version. You can tell it with one click to backup all non-system apps and then restore them all with one click after you flash. It was an absolute life saver the last time I flashed my phone.
