G+_Lennard Harris
Do you think a fingerprint scanner is actually useful on a phone? Or just a gimmick to help push product? #htc #onemax #fingerprintscanner http://www.androidincanada.ca/android-phones/the-htc-one-max-may-come-with-a-fingerprint-sensor/
G+_Robert Marshall
Unless this thing is 100% infallible, and won't prevent an emergency phone call, it is a VERY bad idea!!

G+_Mike Goggin
It would be far faster and easier than pattern locks, passwords, etc. But I suspect it will get hacked quickly and become useless.
G+_Darrell Sullivan
It's like this: when it comes out on the iPhone it will be reported as an amazing innovation leading to security of data. If it comes out first on an Android phone, it will be a gimmick and if it comes out second on an Android it will be copying Apple even though laptops from other manufacturers have implemented fingerprint readers before. Personally, I am sure it is something that hackers will find a way around very quickly. And what happens to people in colder climates who want to answer their phone while standing outside in frigid temperatures?
