G+_Quadflyingmedic
So what do you use to cast TWiT?
G+_Bill Heslin
I went back to using the TWiT app on my Samsung TV.

G+_Paul Werner
So there's no live streaming app now unless you keep am older version APK?
G+_Joseph Barlow
There isn't anything yet but Twit I guess is making there own. Although I have not heard them say anything. I sure hope they do.
G+_Paul Werner
Yeah & here's to hoping it has Chromecast support too
G+_Jose C Martinez
This question has come up a few times already in this community. An app that streams live, downloads past episodes and supports Chromecast apparently doesn't exist. There are several apps in the Play Store but there is not one that meets all three ways to watch. I have not heard officially from TWIT that they are making their own app. That's just something the developer of TWIT Pro and TWIT Cast stated in his apps for whatever reason. ? G+_William L. DeRieux IV
Pocket Casts 4.5 adds Chromecast support. http://www.androidcentral.com/pocket-casts-45-adds-chromecast-support Really all you need is an app that supports video rss feeds (with support for chromecast, or anything else) then use the Rss feeds from here: http://wiki.twit.tv/wiki/TWiT_Show_Feeds http://wiki.twit.tv/wiki/TWiT_Show_Feeds#All_About_Android These feeds will get you the latest episodes (ranging anywhere from a few weeks to a few days) PS: I use those feeds in conjunction with MythTV and MythNetVision plugins (there is an updated twit tv perl script that supports the rss feeds you will the latest version from git branch fixes/0.27). G+_Jose C Martinez
I own Pocket Casts and think it's a great app but does not provide live streaming. As I mentioned above, there isn't a single app that meets all three ways to watch TWIT.
G+_Zachary Dunn
If you use Android TV, Cumulus TV has a live TWIT channel and it'll add the channel to the Live Channels app for easy browsing and viewing.
G+_Jeff Brand
TWiT has mentioned their intent to develop their own app since the new website and API were released. There have been mentions about its development since the new year. That said, it'll be a long process so I wouldn't wait.
G+_Dave Coleman II
Thanks for the responses. I use DogCatcher to download my podcasts. Previously it's Chromecast feature didn't work very well but it worked much better this time (may have been because I was using a second gen Chromecast this time).
