So what do you use to cast TWiT?

This question has come up a few times already in this community. An app that streams live, downloads past episodes and supports Chromecast apparently doesn't exist. There are several apps in the Play Store but there is not one that meets all three ways to watch.

I have not heard officially from TWIT that they are making their own app. That's just something the developer of TWIT Pro and TWIT Cast stated in his apps for whatever reason. ?

Pocket Casts 4.5 adds Chromecast support.

Really all you need is an app that supports video rss feeds (with support for chromecast, or anything else)

then use the Rss feeds from here:

http://wiki.twit.tv/wiki/TWiT_Show_Feeds

http://wiki.twit.tv/wiki/TWiT_Show_Feeds#All_About_Android

These feeds will get you the latest episodes (ranging anywhere from a few weeks to a few days)

PS: I use those feeds in conjunction with MythTV and MythNetVision plugins (there is an updated twit tv perl script that supports the rss feeds you will the latest version from git branch fixes/0.27).
