G+_Nathan K
How do do a screencast off my Android device for app reviews. I want to do a review of the new Twitter app Carbon and how it shapes up against Falcon Pro and I can't figure out how to do it. Using external cameras suck. I tried AirDroid and that was horrible. Is there an app out there (free is what I'm looking for) that can do this? Please let me know!
G+_Tim Davis
What device and what version of Android? Most devices running Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0) or later cna do it natively by pressing and holding down the power + vol-down keys.

G+_Robert Hendrix
You need Root in order to do this to start. There is an app called Screencast but you have one of the devices they state it will not work with.

G+_David Gershman
A slower method may be a VNC server on the phone and screencasting SW on the PC. Else, old school always works...point a vidcam at the phone. :)?

G+_Gene Vayngrib
Seth, I had the same need and I tried a lot of apps but they all fall short of what airplay apps on iOS can do, a butter smooth high resolution screensharing with a PC. And finally today I found BBQScreen. While most I could get from other apps was 4-5 FPS, this one gives me fluid no lag smoothly updated picture, for example playing a youtube video on android. It requires rooted device (I rooted my Galaxy S2 and installed Slim ROM Jelly Bean 4.2.2 for that) and is not polished. For example, I found that 90% scaling is the best (default is 50%) and 100% hung my device. I am not a developer of this app, but will gladly help you if you I can.
