G+_Arturo Cureno
I hear a lot of complaints about the Ouya's model of upgrading hardware every year. I feel like it is going to be an issue of inconvenience more than price. Compare it to an Xbox 360 which costs $200 at least up front. After the initial purchase you must pay a subscription to play online with friends. For the cost of two years of an Xbox Live subscription you can buy a new Ouya console. Regarding the Amazon Coins, I think its a good idea for price consistency. No matter how much you buy your coins for in your local currency, an app that costs 99 coins will always cost 99 coins. No matter what country or currency.
G+_Dan Phillips
I think it may cause some confusion in the retail market as well. Yes us geeks know what we are buying but I can see your average shopper upset that they go last year's model thinking they just got the latest and greatest. And let's not forget that fake , "oh....thanks!" look we will have to give Grandma on Christmas morning because she bought the older model because it was "on sale"
G+_Nick Webster
Lloyd Mac I disagree. The OUYA is not designed to play phone games. Sure to start off there will be lots of ports but not too far in the future there will be games designed for the console not the touch screen.
