G+_Bryce Bolling
I have a topic for the Android show. As an Android user, I always check the permissions an app wants, but you only get the generic default description for each permission. Some devs will indicate in their app description what they use each permission for, but I really feel strongly that as a condition of having an app in the Play store, devs should have to post an explanation of what they use each permission for. There are more than a few apps I really wanted to install, but couldn't get past some of the permissions they wanted. In many cases I contacted the dev (if I could) to ask. Sometimes they explained to my satisfaction, and in other cases I never had a reply.
G+_David Gershman
Sadly many don't know. They leave the defaults and just add any they need. I've seen apps that do basic things but need access to my personal information. Anyone know of a good permissions tutorial for developers?
