G+_Joseph LaBonde
How long of a wire could I run to an external temperature sensor from an uno. I am going to try and install my own compass and thermometer using grove sensors and the 96x96 display. Any tips would be great.
G+_mike klaene
There are two factor about which to watch: the amount of current and the picking up of noise. A long run with minimal current should not be a concern. But the wires should be at least a twisted pair and preferable shielded. I am a programmer type with a ham license but not and engineer. G+_Jeff Brand
Aren't you supposed to use a special thermistor wire for that sort of thing?
G+_mike klaene
If you have a discrete device on the end, I would think an decent copper wire would work.
