G+_Cass Morrison
If you can't figure out the right phone for your lifestyle from reading reviews and forums don't even get an IPhone, you're probably flip phone material.

G+_Ram Rangaswamy
I tell most people if they just want a phone that works, get an iPhone. There isn't an easier phone on the market and (for the most part) it just works. Microsoft Windows Phones are a very close second in terms of ease of use. But if you want flexibility and a more robust experience and you are willing to delve a little deeper, Android is the way to go. Both HTC and Samsung make excellent products and the differences between the two, in reality, are pretty minor.
G+_Cass Morrison
And I would argue Ram Rangaswamy you can get any new Android phone and it would "just work"add well as an iPhone. I never suggest an iPhone to anyone who doesn't have an iTunes account.
G+_Ram Rangaswamy
In my experience, Cass Morrison, I know plenty of people that own Android phones but the non-tech savvy ones barely seem to use the features of their devices. Most have only installed the Facebook and maybe Twitter apps but pretty much nothing else. Most iPhone users have at least 5-10 apps installed and they use those many of those apps regularly. I just converted from an iPhone centric life to a Samsung Galaxy S4 a few days ago and have to say, I'm glad I made the switch to Android. But the simplicity, consistency, and general ease-of-use of the OS and of the apps is nowhere iOS.
G+_Michael Conrad
It's funny to see the phone wars moving from Android vs iPhone to Android vs Android vs iPhone. Ram Rangaswamy IOS is definitely "simpler", but you will find - once the pains of switching subside - that doing straightforward tasks on Android (ie sharing and maps) is much easier on Android. Now, I personally find Touchwiz to be somewhat cumbersome. I actually put a stock launcher on my Mom's SIII. ?
