I've had a few Android phones over the years; Droid1, Fascinate, Incredible 2, Marquee, Transform Ultra, Galaxy S 2 & now a Galaxy Nexus, plus my Nexus 7. Screen resolution hasn't stopped me from using specific apps or effected how I've used them. What usually gets in the way is processor speed or secondary features like sensors or radios (NFC). The galaxy nexus & Nexus 7 aren't that far apart in resolution, but vary greatly in screen size and technology. I have mostly the same apps on both and I don't have any issues.
