Education apps for Android

 

So I bought a Nexus 7 (2013), I love it and have been recommending it to everyone I know. For a while it has been hard for me to recommend an Android Tablet for parents over an ipad because the apps were not there and discovery is not a problem as their are websites and Facebook groups devoted to highlighting iOS apps for kids. But with the user profiles and the increased focus on Education apps I think that things are getting better.  In researching however I found a curious thing , many quality kids focused apps that are available on the iPad can be found only in the Amazon app store and not in the Play store. So I need your help, please let me know what are the apps you have installed for your kids. I asked this question a while ago but I want to see how things have changed (improved). I am also of thinking of starting a G+ Community to help other parents. Jason Howell I know you have a list of apps, any help would be great.

Interesting, never even considered that something would be in the amazon store and not the play store

Mark Scholes yep and even if the app is in both they still are different many they may not even update at the same time also sometime the content is different Marlon Thompson coursesmart is good for older students

I found them through the Play Store.
