The Verge had a code ("VERGE", I think).

When I was at home I went to the Spaces area, selected "Nearby Places" and then picked "Home". (It's all the way at the bottom for some reason.)

Similarly I picked my office when I was at work. Not sure how it knew that's where I work (unless it figures it out like Google Now does), but it did.

Like putting the right apps in the right categories, it looks like you'll want to select specific places every now and then. It gives you the option to check in with Foursquare so there's that incentive (FWIW), but then it also does cool stuff like...

I went to Walmart over the weekend and I had selected that location before. Aviate knew this and switched my app category ("Collection" they're called) to "Grocery Shopping" where I had already made sure my grocery list app was.

Long story short, I don't really know if you have to force it, Marlon Thompson. I may have accidentally by what I did, but I'm not sure how much is me telling it things and how much it's inferring on its own.

Dave Head It kind of sneaks up on you. After a few days of awkwardness, you start finding your rhythm.

Reminds me of my honeymoon... but I digress.

Yeah, you give up some things with Aviate. Particularly in terms of home screen customization. But you gain in other areas.

A very interesting product...
