G+_Marlon Thompson
Story for tomorrow Jason Howell (caveat not officially confirmed as of posting) Now this does not mean updates will come out faster but it could be seen as an indication of those next billion users that people keeps talking about. In the Caribbean we have access to the latest flagship phones (mainly Samsung) but we also have a wide variety of the low end smartphones with the majority coming from Blu http://bluproducts.com/ and some of these phones are running ...wait for it....gingerbread (I had to beg a friend of mine not to purchase one of these last week) though the vast majority are running 4.0 and 4.1. This situation is mirrored in Latin America, India and parts of Africa. So I really hope this story is confirmed.
